Fee Policies
Refunds: Filing fees are non-refundable once the respondent has been served. If the case is withdrawn before service, a full refund of the filing fee will be issued within 5 business days.
Default awards: If a respondent fails to appear, the full filing fee is borne by the claimant. The arbitrator may assess arbitration fees against the defaulting respondent in the award.
Hardship: Parties experiencing genuine financial hardship may apply in writing for a fee reduction. Arbitd has sole discretion to grant or deny such requests.
Cost reallocation: The Arbitrator may reallocate fees in the Final Award, awarding the prevailing party recovery of its arbitration costs from the non-prevailing party.
